What We Do

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, more than 80 % of aged 15 to 35 have no access to steady employment and live on less than $2 a day. As a result, poverty in the country is widespread and severe, posing a big threat to the stability of the country.

According to the World Development Report 2019;  In Sub-Saharan Africa, 11 million young people are entering the labor market every year for the next decade. To meet this increasing demand, the creation of new jobs will require a mix of skills: Entrepreneurial skills to enable the starting and growing of businesses for jobs creation; Work-readiness and job search skills to enable youth to find and thrive at jobs.

Bunifu believes that to promote creation of jobs in Africa, young leaders and entrepreurs should be equiped with entrepreurship skills, work-readiness and job searching skills.
